Crabtastic :)

February 20th, 2009

I decided it was time to get ol’ Stumpy (our hermit crab) some new shells and other good stuff. And seeing as how pet stores seem to have a pretty limited selection I decided to have a look on-line. I found a store called The Hermit Crab Patch (I know, the URL is pretty corny). They had a nice selection of shells, and actually lets you pick them by opening size which is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. So I ordered some of those in various bigger sizes and figured wth, might as well get him some food, treats and a new cave too to make the order amount more than shipping at least.

It looked like a family owned business, and it’s usually hit or miss with those so I wasn’t getting my hopes up, but shipping was fast, they took a lot of care wrapping everything that was fragile in paper, they got the order right, put in a free sample with serving shell so I was very happy when I received and opened the package today :)

I washed and put the two smallest shells (bigger than his of course) in his enclosure and went back to combine some of the new treats into the new serving shell. I walked back over to his enclosure going: “Hey Stumpy! Look what I g…” But when I got there I saw that he was already going RAHR! and had one of the shells in a death grip trying to wrestle it into submission lol! So I figured I’d leave him alone instead.

Good to know he’s interested in his new shells and might even be wearing one of them in a bit. Guess the fruit bites and kelp corn ‘ll have to wait :)

New top secret government weapon technology.

I accidentally found out about it while watching this commercial.

Turns out Chuck Norris’ beard now has stealth technology.
Notice how it looks invisible at first, but then when he’s on the total gym it un-stealths and then goes back into stealth again afterwards.

Amazing… :O

True story

I suck at drawing orcs and NE’s though so I decided to take the cheap and lazy way out and use model viewer screen shots to portray what happened instead.
I know Blizz prefers original art but I submitted this to the comic contest anyway.
