Our dog’s got this weird habit of opposite fasting every now and then.
Yes, opposite.

She eats and drinks…. she just doesn’t let anything come out the other end

The first time this happened we were pretty damn worried and we took her to the vet.
The vet told us her blatter was definately very full but it wasn’t pressured so apparantly there was still room left in there even. She told us to not worry, and that she’d go eventually.
Ofcourse after we payed the vet bill and walked out of the office, she did everything rightaway

She’s managed to keep everything in for 48 hours…
I guess this amazing ability might have something to do with her years in the shelter.
According to the guy there they’d usually have people come by every day but occasionally they’d skip a sunday. All of the other dogs ‘d do their “thing” in the kennel and the shelter workers would clean it up the next day, but Sophie always refused to “go” in her kennel.

Anyways, she did it again. managed to not “go” for 2 days.
You try to just be as stubborn as her and not worry, but man it gets on your nerves when she does that.
Especially in the eve, because you know you won’t sleep because you’re expecting her to start whining at 3 AM or something silly like that.

But finally today, relief for all of us.
She didn’t go this morn but about 20 mins ago she started whining and trying to make it clear to me that it was finally time. And indeed. Pee’d a river and poo’d a mountain.

Uber insta-joy afterwards.

This week’s the fair!

Some Horde were there for the PVP but also some to just enjoy the fair’s drinks and games.
To the dumbass Alliance kids who complain about Horde players coming over to have a peek I say either move to a PVP server or to an RP server if you enjoy bleating about your “OMG i HATE teh HORDE!!!1 u Shud GO HOME!!!!11111″ Alliance Partriotism

Yesterday I stumbled across two episodes of a show I’d never seen before.
I enjoyed them a lot, it was absolutely hilarious.

I figured I’d find out wether there was a DVD of this show, but unfortunately the only 6 episodes of the series never came out on DVD or VHS.
The second thing I did was check the TV schedule of the station to see if it’d be on again.
Not a single listing.

Now, I’m not at all for Piracy. But what is someone to do when there’s absolutely no way of ever getting to see the show they love in a legal manner again?

I know, I know, IP and the owners can do whatever the fuck they want with it, including showing the show once and never let it see daylight again. I understand all that. But… isn’t that incredibly lame?
It’s like giving a kid one single bite of a candybar and sending it to it’s room every time it wants to have another bite. Or to reveal the Mona Lisa, and then shoo out the art fanatics after 5 minutes without any opportunity to take a picture, then lock the painting in some vault for the rest of eternity and lock up anyone who’s trying to get in to catch a glimpse.

Either Put the show back on TV so we can see it with commercials, put the damn show on DVD so we can buy it, or if they really want to put it in some dusty closet without being able to make any money off it then at least let us download it legally!

The show I’m talking about is “Gerhard Reinke’s Wanderlust” btw. A travel show parody.
It’s absolutely hilarious.

Apparantly my comic entry for the BB fortnightly Art Compo won lmao.
Little did I know (I musta skimped the rules) that the winner is supposed to come up with the next compo.

But I managed to come up with something.
And here it is

‘m hoping I’ll get at least one entry for this :S
It might be a bit of a tricky challenge because of the tiny canvas size restriction
But I’d imagine it’ll be fun.
Too bad yer not allowed to enter in yer own compo

So yeah, we’ll see how that turns out in 2 weeks
